The RY-1824L door release relay module serves as a critical interface between the door release contact on Aiphone master stations or control units and the associated release mechanisms. Given that the contact closure on these master stations or central units often has limited voltage and current capacity, implementing the RY-1824L relay module ensures the contact rating is adequate for various electric strikes or magnetic locks. This relay is engineered to support the demands of the majority of door release hardware on the market. It is particularly recommended for use with the AX, KB, JF, JO, and JP Series systems whenever door release is necessary, offering protection for the built-in contacts against potential surge damage. The RY-1824L is compatible with JP-4MED, KB-3MRD, JO-1MD, JO-1FD master and sub-stations, as well as the AX-084C, AX-248C, and AX-320C central control units.
