Description
The Altronix VR6 Voltage Regulator is a versatile power management solution that converts a 24VDC input into a selectable, regulated output of either 5VDC or 12VDC, delivering up to 6A of current. This device helps reduce the need for additional power supplies, facilitating simultaneous 24VDC, 12VDC, and 5VDC outputs while conserving valuable enclosure space. The Altronix ACMS8 features a dual-input design, enabling the distribution of power from two independent low voltage 12VDC or 24VDC sources into eight independently controlled, fuse-protected outputs. These outputs can be adapted to dry form “C” contacts. They are triggered by open collector sink inputs, accommodating normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) configurations from various access control systems such as card readers, keypads, push buttons, and PIR sensors. The ACMS8 efficiently routes power to a range of access control hardware, including magnetic locks, electric strikes, and magnetic door holders. Its outputs are suitable for both Fail-Safe and Fail-Secure operations. Additionally, the Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) interface provides capabilities for emergency egress and alarm monitoring, triggering auxiliary devices as required. With individually selectable fire alarm disconnect features for any or all of the outputs, the ACMS8 offers flexibility in emergency situations. Spade connectors facilitate the daisy chaining of multiple ACMS8 modules, allowing power distribution across more outputs to accommodate larger systems.
