Conekt represents Farpointe Data’s advanced RFID access control technology with support for mobile access. Utilizing the reliable LEGIC® RFID platform, Conekt readers seamlessly integrate with diverse electronic access control systems by adhering to both traditional Wiegand and ABA Track II magnetic stripe formats, as well as the contemporary bi-directional Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP). These readers come equipped with enhanced security features like MAXSecure™ and ValidID™ and facilitate both sector and card serial number (CSN) readings. Beyond conventional contactless smartcard credentials, such as clamshell cards and key tags, the platform also enables mobile access credentials via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)-enabled smartphones, turning them into effective electronic access control devices. Both traditional and mobile Conekt access credentials can be ordered in customized formats and exact sequence numbers to suit specific access control needs.
