The 4590 Deadlatch Paddle presents a user-friendly alternative to traditional knob or lever handles, allowing for seamless operation with a simple push or pull motion.
Functionality
This ergonomic solution replaces conventional knob or lever handles, making the action of opening a latched door as intuitive as an unlatched one. Merely push or pull in the direction the door swings. It is compatible with a variety of deadlatch models, including the 4300, 4500, and 4900 Series Deadlatches, MS+1890 Deadlock/Deadlatch, and 2190/2290 Interconnected Deadbolt/Deadlatch systems.
Operational Configurations
The Paddle is available in four operational configurations to suit different door orientations: push left, push right, pull left, and pull right.

Escutcheon Design
Constructed from zinc alloy with a sleek black finish, the escutcheons are secured to the door stile using specialized binder posts designed to withstand torque from any direction.
Cam Plug Specifications
Supplied for use with 4300, 4500, and 4900 Series Deadlatches, the cam plug is not compatible with MS+1890 or 2190/2290 models. Secured within the latch body by a cylinder set screw, the cam plug is further reinforced to the escutcheon with hardened steel pins for enhanced stability.
Packaging Details
Each unit is individually boxed and includes necessary mounting hardware. Packages for the 4300, 4500, or 4900 Series Deadlatches come with the appropriate cam plug.
