The 4591 Deadlatch Paddle Handle offers an ergonomic alternative to traditional door knob or lever designs, allowing for easy operation through a simple push or pull motion.

Functionality

This innovative solution serves as a substitute for standard knobs or lever handles. It enables effortless opening of a latched door, similar to an unlatched one, by pushing or pulling in the direction the door swings. It is compatible with Adams Rite 4300, 4500, or 4900 Series Deadlatches, MS+1890 Deadlock/Deadlatch, and 2190/2290 Interconnected Deadbolt/Deadlatch systems.

Operation Options

The handle is available in four operational configurations: push left, push right, pull left, and pull right. It can be reconfigured on-site to switch between modes, although dogging is not applicable when using the pull configuration.
