**4591 Deadlatch Paddle**
The 4591 Deadlatch Paddle is an ergonomic solution for commercial door hardware, providing a user-friendly alternative to traditional knobs or lever handles. This door accessory enables seamless operation with a simple push or pull motion.
**Functionality:**
Designed as a substitute for conventional knob or lever handles, this deadlatch paddle facilitates easy door operation, making it intuitive to open a latched door just like opening an unlatched one—by simply pushing or pulling in the direction the door swings. It is compatible with several commercial locking mechanisms, including the 4300, 4500, and 4900 Series Deadlatch, as well as the MS+1890 Deadlock/Deadlatch and the 2190/2290 Interconnected Deadbolt/Deadlatch.
**Operation:**
The design is available in four configurations: push left, push right, pull left, and pull right, providing flexibility and adaptability for various installation requirements. The paddle can be reconfigured to suit different operational needs on site, though it should be noted that dogging is not applicable when set in the pull configuration.
