The electric strike is engineered for compatibility with deadlatches or cylindrical locksets featuring a latchbolt projection between 1/2″ (12.7 mm) and 5/8″ (15.9 mm). It is suitable for use in aluminum, hollow metal, or wood door applications. The electric release function operates efficiently under a preload of up to 25 lbs (11.3 kg), accommodating pressure caused by issues like air conditioning systems, warping, or misaligned hardware which might affect traditional electric strikes.

Powered by a single solenoid, it supports 12/16/24 VDC, providing remote electric control for narrow stile aluminum doors fitted with a 4500, 4700, or 4900 Deadlatch or cylindrical lockset. Electrical activation releases the keeper, allowing the latchbolt to disengage, thus enabling door access without manual latch operation.
