Description
The LINQ8ACM and LINQ8ACMCB are UL Listed dual-input access control power controllers engineered for network integration and streamlined access control system deployment. Designed for both wall and rack mount installations, these controllers feature a dual-input architecture, enabling them to channel power from one or two independent low voltage 12 or 24 VDC power supplies to a total of eight individually managed outputs. These outputs are available in fuse-protected (LINQ8ACM) or PTC-protected (LINQ8ACMCB) configurations. Activation is achieved through an open collector sink, normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) dry trigger input, or a wet output from components such as an access control system, card reader, keypad, push button, or PIR sensor, among others. The system is adaptable for powering an array of access control hardware, including magnetic locks, electric strikes, and magnetic door holders, with outputs capable of functioning in either Fail-Safe or Fail-Secure modes.
Additionally, the Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) interface supports emergency egress and alarm monitoring, and can trigger auxiliary devices. The fire alarm disconnect feature is customizable for any combination of the eight outputs. Spade connectors offer the flexibility to daisy chain power across multiple modules, enhancing power distribution for large-scale systems. Equipped with advanced network monitoring capabilities through LINQ technology, these controllers enable comprehensive oversight and control of associated low voltage AC or supervised DC power supply/chargers. Diagnostics are communicated via Email and Windows Dashboard Alert notifications, significantly minimizing system downtime and reducing unnecessary service calls. The LINQ8ACM and LINQ8ACMCB are also compatible for retrofitting with a wide range of existing multi-output power supply/chargers, ensuring seamless integration into established systems.
