The Electro-Voice® EVF-1181S is a powerful, front-loaded bass element designed for diverse sound reinforcement applications demanding superior audio quality in a lightweight package. This high-performance professional loudspeaker incorporates the EVS18SB 18″ woofer, which has been optimized using FEA technology for motor, suspension, and electrical design, achieving minimal distortion and excellent intelligibility even at high sound pressure levels.
Engineered for permanent installation, the EVF-1181S boasts a weather-resistant birch trapezoidal enclosure, coated with EVCoatTM, ensuring durability against environmental elements. Its innovative acoustic and rigging system supports the construction of vertical and horizontal clusters by integrating various loudspeakers from the entire EVF & EVH Series. This includes a selection of Full-Range, Low Frequency, and Subwoofer options, providing optimal flexibility for system design tailored to specific applications and budgetary constraints.
The advanced input panel offers versatility, featuring a phoenix style connector included in standard models, with the option to add a dual NL4 type connector cover plate or a gland nut cover plate for enhanced weather resistance. An optional 70.7/100 Volt transformer kit can be easily attached to the input panel for use in distributed systems. These comprehensive features allow for efficient management of inventory and rapid response to customer needs across a wide range of venues.
