**General Description:**
The Electro-Voice® EVF-1122S/94-FG is a high-performance, fully weatherproof loudspeaker system featuring a fiberglass-coated finish, ideal for a wide range of applications demanding superior sound reinforcement in a compact, lightweight format. The loudspeaker harnesses the ND2B high-output 2″ titanium compression driver, paired with a 90° x 40° constant directivity waveguide. Its SMX2121 12″ woofer is optimized using finite element analysis (FEA) to ensure low distortion, high efficiency, and excellent clarity at elevated sound pressure levels. The system’s crossover employs steep 24 dB/octave slopes with equalization to ensure smooth vocal response, consistent off-axis performance, and a reliable protection circuit for long-term durability.
The EVF-1122S/94-FG is tailor-made for fixed installations, including outdoor venues. Its trapezoidal cabinet, made from weather-resistant birch and coated with fiberglass, offers maximum protection against harsh environmental conditions. The acoustic and rigging design facilitates the construction of both vertical and horizontal clusters utilizing loudspeakers from the entire EVF & EVH Series. With seven horn patterns and various low-frequency and subwoofer loudspeakers available, this system provides exceptional design flexibility across diverse applications and budgets. The smart input panel features phoenix-style connectors and a gland nut cover plate for weatherized deployments. Additionally, users can select between passive or active modes via an external jumper. An optional 70.7/100 Volt transformer kit can be mounted to the input panel for distributed audio systems, allowing for a versatile range of venue solutions in challenging environments, reducing inventory needs while efficiently meeting client demands.
