Axis temperature alarm cameras are ideal for environments requiring precise temperature monitoring, such as power generation facilities, fire hazard zones, and industrial processes involving materials prone to self-ignition. The AXIS Q2901-EP T Mount is an outdoor-ready, bullet-style thermal camera engineered for installation on pan-tilt motors, which enables comprehensive area coverage. Equipped with a serial port for RS422/RS485 communication with these motors, it enhances flexibility in large-scale thermal surveillance applications.
The camera provides 336×256 resolution thermal imaging and supports up to six customizable temperature alarm zones, making it capable of triggering alarms based on temperature fluctuations, whether they exceed or fall below set thresholds, or due to rapid temperature changes. Additionally, it features spot temperature functionality for immediate detection and analysis, while isothermal palettes simplify the identification of hot spots by highlighting temperature variations that traditional color palettes might miss.
Two lens options are available to facilitate remote temperature monitoring over varied distances, ensuring critical thermal conditions are observed with precision. The cost-effective installation is achieved through Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af), streamlining the process and reducing wiring complexity.
