Description
The Altronix ACMCB series is designed to distribute and switch power specifically for access control systems and related accessories. These units transform a 115VAC, 60Hz input into eight (8) independently controlled 12VDC or 24VDC Class 2 Rated power-limited outputs, each protected by a PTC. The outputs are triggered by an open collector sink or a normally open (NO) dry trigger input from access control system components such as card readers, keypads, push buttons, or PIR sensors. The ACMCB series is capable of supplying power to a range of access control hardware, including magnetic locks, electric strikes, and magnetic door holders. These outputs function in both Fail-Safe and Fail-Secure modes. Additionally, the integrated FACP interface allows for emergency egress, alarm monitoring, and the activation of other auxiliary devices. The fire alarm disconnect feature can be configured individually for any or all of the eight (8) outputs.
