The AL1024ULXPD8CBR is a versatile power supply/charger specifically designed for access control and fire alarm systems, providing multiple 24VDC Class 2 rated power-limited outputs. It converts a 115VAC, 60Hz input and offers a consistent supply current of 10A for access control applications and 8A for fire alarm systems. This unit features eight (8) Class 2 rated, PTC-protected power-limited outputs, each rated at 2.5A, which are auto-resettable. The power supply ensures reliability through its filtered and electronically regulated output, complete with short circuit and thermal overload protection.
For enhanced functionality, the device includes a built-in charger suitable for sealed lead acid or gel-type batteries, with an automatic switchover to standby battery power upon AC failure. Supervision features include AC fail supervision with form “C” contacts, a selectable notification trigger set for either 30 seconds or 6 hours, as well as low battery and battery presence supervision, both utilizing form “C” contacts.
Additional features comprise LED indicators for AC input and DC output status, and it operates efficiently across a temperature range of 0 to 49°C (32 to 120°F), with storage temperatures ranging from -20 to 70°C (-4 to 158°F) and a relative humidity tolerance of 85% +/- 5%. The system’s AC input requires 483VA, with an approximate thermal output of 123 BTU/Hr.
