Description
The Altronix ACMCB series is designed to manage and distribute power for access control systems and related accessories. This series transforms a 115VAC, 60Hz input into eight (8) independently controlled 12VDC or 24VDC Class 2 rated, power-limited outputs with PTC protection. These outputs can be activated using an open collector sink or a normally open (NO) dry trigger input from various access control inputs, such as access control systems, card readers, keypads, push buttons, and PIR motion detectors. The units efficiently deliver power to various access control hardware devices, including magnetic locks, electric strikes, and magnetic door holders. Outputs are configurable to operate in either Fail-Safe or Fail-Secure modes. The Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) interface supports emergency egress, alarm monitoring, and can trigger auxiliary devices. Additionally, the fire alarm disconnect feature is selectable for any or all of the eight (8) outputs, providing flexibility and enhanced safety in access control applications.
