The Remote Active Communication Tag (RACT) operates at 433 MHz using Gaussian Frequency-Shift Keying (GFSK) modulation. This wireless device transmits at regular intervals of 1 second. An innovative algorithm integrates a small time slot into the standard interval, creating an effective anticollision system that prevents the overlap of RF signals from multiple devices within the same area.
The remote active tag features a tri-color LED indicator, providing the battery status with a flash every five radio transmissions.
