Each Mic/line and auxiliary input channel features a selectable 5-band EQ along with high-pass and low-pass filters, while the unit incorporates a specialized high-Q feedback filter tailored to the vocal frequency range for paging applications. Adjustable output limiters are integrated into the audio chain, preventing system overdrive. The device also includes the innovative Push Here Diagnostic (PHD) automatic diagnostic system test. The PHD feature conducts a thorough check of connected speaker lines, identifying wiring errors and amplifier load issues. Upon completing the speaker connections, the circuit auto-verifies the speaker tap settings are compatible with the amplifier’s rated power and ensures speaker wiring integrity.
