Description
The ASP-MG24 sound masking processor revolutionizes acoustic privacy by integrating advanced speaker processing capabilities for popular speaker systems. This 1RU unit features a 2-input, 4-output digital signal processor with four configurable masking generators, all accessible via an intuitive graphical user interface. Each masking generator is powered by independent white/pink noise sources with adjustable ramp-up settings for a seamless adaptation to the desired sound masking levels. Additionally, it offers two inputs for microphones or line sources, enabling seamless integration of paging or music with the masking outputs. The ASP-MG24 includes dedicated 1/3 octave filter sets for each of the generator outputs and 8-band parametric EQ blocks with dynamic control for the mic/line inputs. The flexible matrixing of up to six inputs to the four output DSP blocks allows further parametric equalization, delay, and limiting, facilitating the setup of a complex four-zone sound masking system with ease.
For speaker processing versatility, the ASP-MG24 can be configured in a 2-input by 4-output mode for stereo operation. Other operational configurations include full-range and subwoofer setups, supporting ceiling speakers, surface mount speakers, or stadium horns, with comprehensive control over crossover settings, equalization, delay, and dynamic processing. Connectivity is simplified via USB and RS-232 interfaces, eliminating the need for cumbersome adapters. An external UL-listed international voltage power supply is included for convenience. With its four distinct masking channels and 1/3 octave tuning capabilities, the ASP-MG24 DSP architecture excels in both advanced masking system setups and comprehensive full-range or subwoofer speaker control. The user-friendly GUI is designed to streamline even the most intricate setups involving multiple audio sources and sound masking within the same acoustic zone.
