The Strategy Series FA-TR4 trim ring/rough-in bracket is designed for wall or ceiling-mount applications and should be installed before drywall. This component serves as a template for drywall contractors, ensuring the correct opening is left for a FA97-4 or FA95-4 enclosure, thereby streamlining the sound system installation process. The trim ring measures 25 5/8″ in length and accommodates drywall thicknesses ranging from 3/8″ to 1 1/4″. It includes mounting holes compatible with both 16″ and 24″ center stud spacing. Constructed from #18 gauge galvanized steel, the FA-TR4 offers durability and reliability. Please note that the trim ring alone does not support direct installation of Strategy Series Grilles; an enclosure or FAPR Plaster Ring is necessary for grille installation.
