The Strategy Series FA-TR8 trim ring and rough-in bracket is designed for wall or ceiling-mount applications, facilitating pre-drywall installation as a precise cut-out guide for the drywall contractor. This ensures the correct opening for integrating an FA97-8 or FA95-8 enclosure, or an FAPR-8 plaster ring, into the setup.
This element assists in identifying the pre-wire location and streamlines the sound system installation process.
With dimensions of 25 5/8″ L, the trim ring is compatible with drywall thicknesses ranging from 3/8″ to 1 1/4″. Additionally, it includes mounting holes that align with both 16″ and 24″ center studs.
The FA-TR8 is constructed from #18 gauge galvanized steel for durability and reliability.
NOTE: The trim ring by itself is insufficient for the installation of Strategy Series Grilles. A compatible enclosure or FAPR Plaster Ring is necessary to complete grille installations.
