Description
The AtlasIED IPX Series IP-SDMF indoor wall mount IP speakers with integrated display and flasher utilize VoIP technology to enhance tele-presence and provide superior audio solutions for environments requiring network-wide communication, particularly in areas with high ambient noise or expansive spaces. These IP-SDMF speakers function as communication endpoints within InformaCast and Revolution Advanced Notification systems, offering both visual text and audio broadcasts to improve physical security and facilitate everyday communications through advanced alerting, bell schedules, and pre-recorded or scheduled announcements. They are ideal for leveraging WAN/LAN network architecture.
In Cisco environments, these IP speakers seamlessly integrate with Cisco’s Unified Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST), acting as supported devices within SRST endpoint architecture. This setup offers call-processing redundancy for remote locations when the centralized Cisco Unified Communications Manager is inaccessible due to a WAN outage. Reliable LAN communication between phones and speakers becomes essential during emergencies, which may even cause WAN outages.
The IP-SDMF speakers meet “effective communication” standards, as mandated by the ADA, ensuring that communications are equally clear and understandable for individuals with disabilities as for those without. Without third-party notification applications, these speakers can register as SIP devices, directly connecting with a SIP server or VoIP Communications Manager for crucial alerts and public address needs.
These speakers are perfect for corporate applications, educational institutions, entertainment complexes, industrial facilities, government buildings, healthcare facilities, houses of worship, and transportation hubs—anywhere critical alerts or public addresses are needed. They support a unified enterprise-class communications platform. Featuring an 8″ (205mm) coaxial speaker optimized for voice intelligibility, the IP-SDMF speakers ensure durability and security with their 18-gauge metal grills, finished in neutral white electrostatic powder coat. They utilize national time synchronization protocols (NTP) for accurate time display while in standby, and during operation, the high-resolution LCD switches from time display to scrolling visual notifications. Equipped with LED flashers below the display, these speakers alert occupants to incoming audio and scrolling text messages in compliance with ADA guidelines. Each Atlas IP speaker comes fully assembled with a speaker, grill, and PCB amp/control board securely mounted to the grill’s rear.
