Description
The IPX Series IP-HVP is a robust, weather-resistant, wall-mount IP speaker expertly designed for challenging environments requiring reliable VoIP communication. Featuring high-output capabilities, this speaker effectively addresses the need for network-wide communication in areas with significant ambient noise or large spaces. Its grill, crafted from cast aluminum alloy, ensures exceptional durability and security for both indoor and outdoor applications.
The IP-HVP integrates seamlessly as a communication endpoint within InformaCast, GCK, and Revolution Advanced Notification systems, delivering enhanced audio broadcasts to boost physical security and streamline daily communications. This functionality includes advanced alerting, bell schedules, and scheduled announcements by utilizing WAN/LAN Network Architecture. In Cisco environments, IP-HVP speakers are compatible with Unified Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST), ensuring call-processing redundancy during WAN outages and enabling crucial LAN communication between phones and speakers during emergencies.
For environments where third-party notification applications are unnecessary, the vandal-proof, weather-resistant IP-HVP can register directly as SIP devices to a SIP server or VoIP Communications Manager. This feature supports essential alerts and public address applications, making the speaker ideal for corporate environments, educational institutions, entertainment venues, industrial facilities, government buildings, healthcare settings, houses of worship, and transportation hubs—anywhere that requires critical alerts and public addressing with a unified enterprise-class communication platform.
The IP-HVP models feature a highly efficient 15-Watt compression driver/speaker renowned for its reliability and outstanding audio output. The unique double re-entrant design ensures superior sound levels and clarity for voice and tone alert notifications. Each unit comes as a factory-assembled speaker with an integrated grill and PCB amp/control board securely mounted. Features such as auto-provisioning and auto-registration enable effortless configuration on your Voice VLAN, akin to a VoIP handset, ensuring secure and guaranteed communication by sharing the same Quality of Service (QoS). Additionally, GPI/O ports provide triggers for critical alert notifications or allow for unified connectivity with third-party systems.
