The AtlasIED PM4FA incorporates the renowned response and dispersion characteristics of the FA134 high-performance 4″ Strategy Series driver. This loudspeaker is identical to the FA Series component found in the popular FAP42T ceiling speaker system. Mounted in a down-firing position within an elegant enclosure, the PM4FA offers natural sound with wide coverage for installations with low ceilings, while delivering impressive full-range frequency response suitable for both music and paging applications.
The PM4FA is designed for easy installation on a variety of overhead surfaces. For open beam ceilings, a 3-meter cable kit with a self-gripping ferrule system is included. For installations requiring down pipe mounting from solid ceiling materials, any 3/4″ ceiling fan installation kit can be used. These kits are widely available from home improvement stores under various brands, offering different down pipe length options to ensure ease of installation regardless of ceiling angle (up to 45°).
Both installation methods are seamlessly integrated with the PM series’ innovative top cover design and concealment cap. This cap features a cable access plug that can be quickly removed for down pipe mounting. Additionally, the cover completely hides the speaker cable connections and suspension anchor points.
Several package options are available to fit different coverage patterns and installation scenarios. For low ceilings, a discrete enclosure system is offered with an ultra-wide coverage 4″ FA series driver. For higher ceiling applications, the PM series caters to a range of budget and performance needs with three different 8″ driver options, which are factory assembled into a larger yet still attractive pendant-style enclosure.
The enclosure is available in either black or white finish.
