The AtlasIED PM8FA incorporates the well-known performance and dispersion characteristics of the FA138 Strategy Series, a high-performance 8″ driver. This speaker is the same FA Series component found in the popular FAP82T ceiling speaker package. Installed in a stylish down-firing enclosure, the PM8FA offers natural-sounding, expansive coverage for low ceiling installations while maintaining an impressive full-range frequency response suitable for both music and paging applications. Mounting the PM8FA to overhead surfaces is straightforward. For open beam ceilings, it includes a 3-meter cable kit with a self-gripping ferrule system. For installations requiring down-pipe mounting from solid ceiling materials, a variety of 3/4″ ceiling fan installation kits can be used. These kits, available under the FANTECTM brand at home improvement retailers, offer different down-pipe length options, ensuring easy installation regardless of ceiling angle (up to 45°).
