The cost-effective studio boom is specifically designed for compact studio or broadcast settings and is ideal for stage miking of drums and percussion instruments. This unit includes a 60-inch, two-piece horizontal boom assembly made from durable steel tubing. The tubing features a 90° angled end for optimal microphone positioning and ends with a standard 5/8″ – 27 thread to accommodate all microphones, holders, and adapters. The vertical tube assembly is crafted from 1 1/8″ and 7/8″ diameter cold-rolled steel, offering an adjustable height range of 43″ to 68″. The tubing incorporates a wear-resistant grip-action clutch for secure locking control. A triangular die-cast base with edge-focused weight distribution ensures enhanced stability, and it is equipped with three hard rubber swivel casters for smooth and quiet movement.
