These budget-friendly audio units feature a compact design, functional versatility, superior sound clarity, efficient sound dispersion, and high output levels. Every model includes a high-efficiency compression driver, ensuring maximum acoustic conversion efficiency—minimizing the number of units required to achieve desired sound pressure levels and significantly reducing amplification power needs and labor costs. The rugged, die-cast, water-sealed construction is engineered to resist vandalism, pests, moisture, corrosion, and vibration, suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. Options include a basic 8-ohm version and transformer models in 70.7 or 25-volt configurations with a DC blocking capacitor, as specified. All units use barrier strips for connections. VT Series models are designed for surface mounting, while VTF Series models are engineered for flush mounting in recessed setups. VT Series are compatible with standard 4″ electrical boxes, while VTF Series mount to 4″ or 4-11/16″ square backboxes and require specific adapter rings (model AR or MR), sold separately. A variety of optional mounting accessories are available, including indoor and outdoor enclosures, bi-directional housing, and adapter plates and rings.
