The B465 Conettix Universal Dual Path Communicator serves as a key interface for converting digital dialer outputs from a Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) or dry contact outputs from fire and intrusion control panels into IP signals for seamless transmission over Ethernet or cellular networks. Notably, this innovative communicator is compliant with UL 864 10th Edition as per NFPA 72, version 2013 standards. Featuring an integrated Ethernet port and compatibility with optional Conettix plug-in cellular modules (B440/B441/B442/B443/B444), the B465 ensures reliable reporting to central monitoring stations. Its installation does not require changes to the automation software of supported control panels, streamlining the shift to IP infrastructure. Centrally, all messages generated by the B465 appear in Contact ID format at monitoring centers. The unit is flexible in its power requirements, operating either from a 16.5 VAC transformer or a 24 VDC power supply.
