Description
The B465 Conettix Universal Dual Path Communicator is designed for seamless conversion of Public Switch Telephone Network (PSTN) digital dialer signals or dry contact outputs from intrusion and fire control panels into IP signals for transmission over Ethernet or cellular networks. Certified to UL 864 10th Edition according to NFPA 72, 2013 version, this communicator provides dual-path reporting capabilities through its integrated Ethernet connection and optional Conettix plug-in cellular modules (B440/B441/B442/B443). Installation of the B465 module maintains existing automation programming for the supported control panel, ensuring a streamlined installation process and smooth transition from PSTN to IP. The B465 transmits all internally generated messages in Contact ID format to the central monitoring station. The module is compatible with power sources of either a 16.5 VAC transformer or a 24 VDC power supply.
