The HES 9500 Series is a robust, three-hour fire-rated, surface-mounted electric strike specifically designed for rim exit devices with a 3/4″ Pullman latch. Its components are fully encased within a 3/4″ thick stainless steel housing, eliminating the need for frame modifications during installation. Simply place the electric strike on the frame’s surface, align with the exit latchbolt, and install. The design allows for easy adjustments, with the base now separated from the cover for enhanced flexibility.
This electric strike is outdoor-rated and surpasses Grade 1 standards for strength and performance. It offers field-selectable options for fail-secure and fail-safe operations, supporting both 12VDC and 24VDC. Uniquely, it complies with NFPA 80-07 guidelines, making it ideal for retrofitting into fire-rated frames.
