The HES 9800 Series electric strike is a surface-mounted, low-profile solution engineered for integration with the 8700, 8800, and EX88 Series Rim Exit Devices. It is certified for outdoor use and surpasses Grade 1 specifications for durability and reliability in security applications. All operational features are contained within a compact ½” thick strike body, elegantly protected by a stainless steel cover that conceals mounting screws, offering an enhanced aesthetic.
Included are 1/16″ and 1/8″ spacer plates to accommodate diverse door gap requirements. Installation is straightforward: position the electric strike on the frame surface, align it with the Starwheel or Interlock latching system, and secure in place.
