The EVAX 25 is compatible with any Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP), delivering 25 Watts of speaker power for robust emergency communication. This voice evacuation system is equipped with essential features and can be customized with zone splitters, remote microphone panels, and expander modules to accommodate a wide range of applications. The EVAX 25 includes its own power supply and battery charger, requiring connection to a 120 VAC outlet and standby batteries.
A built-in digital message repeater (DMR) allows for field-configurable options like alarm tone selection, automatic message repetition, and a 6-hour delay for AC power failure reporting. The integrated paging microphone is crucial to the system’s operation; its removal triggers a “Trouble” condition, alerting both locally and through the FACP.
The EVAX 25 is housed in a sleek surface or semi-flush mounted backbox with a secure, hinged, and key-locked door, ensuring both functionality and aesthetic appeal.
