Linklock offers robust network protection by preventing unauthorized access and swiftly detecting any disconnection, reconnection, or tampering along the cabling connected to the Base unit and IP cameras or other PoE devices. External IP cameras can create vulnerable network entry points, potentially allowing attackers to disrupt the surveillance system or even gain access to the broader corporate network if it’s bridged with the surveillance system. LINKLOCK effectively mitigates these threats by completely cutting off power and data to the channel whenever it senses a cable disconnection, reconnection, or tampering, such as intercepting network cables.
