Description
Power over Ethernet (PoE) via Coaxial Cable or Local Power Supply: In its most straightforward setup, the BASE unit derives power from a standard PoE switch or a Veracity 57V DC power supply unit (PSU) and transmits PoE over the coaxial cable. The QUAD unit then receives this power, distributing up to 25 watts across four IP cameras. This configuration eliminates the need for external power cabling, with automatic detection and setup. For increased PoE power requirements, an optional Veracity 57V DC PSU can power the QUAD locally at the camera end, supplying either 40 watts or 78 watts, depending on the PSU model. Please refer to the PoE budget table for detailed information.
