Description
**Overview** – These Proximity readers, equipped with Genuine HID Technology™, are designed for integration with various access control systems, including Net2 and other third-party platforms. The readers are compatible with standard 125 kHz cards featuring Genuine HID Technology™. They transmit card data in Wiegand format without truncation. The product lineup includes the Proximity P50M reader and a metal variant, both utilizing Genuine HID Technology™.
These devices come pre-configured with 125 kHz Genuine HID Technology™, eliminating the need for an additional activation license. For Wiegand output, users can purchase an activation card separately.
**Installation** – Each Proximity reader with Genuine HID Technology™ is supplied with a 3-meter cable, designed for straightforward wiring as indicated on the control unit label. To ensure optimal performance and read range, avoid installing the readers on metal surfaces or near other proximity devices. The central cable exit at the back of the reader allows for precise drilling and mounting.
**Operation** – To use, a token must be held close to the reader. Upon token recognition, the control unit verifies the user’s access permissions. Depending on the result, access is either granted, indicated by a flashing green LED, or denied, signaled by a flashing red LED.
