The ION S3220 is a stand-alone managed Network Interface Device (NID) designed for seamless integration between 10/100/1000Base-TX and 1000Base-SX/LX ports. This enables efficient fiber optic cabling integration into 10/100/1000 copper network environments. As a remotely managed solution, it supports IP-based management for individual control or in-band management over the fiber network when connected to a compatible network card within a managed chassis. Equipped with advanced networking features such as IEEE 802.3ah Link OAM, VLAN, QoS, SSH/SSL, jumbo frame support, and bandwidth allocation, the S3220 ensures secure and efficient delivery of mobile backhaul applications.
