The iCLASS Prox Card integrates both iCLASS 13.56 MHz contactless read/write smart card functionality and Prox 125 kHz proximity technology into a single card. It offers the flexibility to incorporate magnetic stripe, barcode, and anti-counterfeiting features such as custom artwork or photo identification directly on the credential. This card technology can be used across diverse applications such as access control, network log-on security, automotive vehicle identification, cashless vending, time and attendance tracking, and biometric verification. Transitioning or upgrading to the iCLASS platform from proximity technology readers allows for varying levels of security assignment based on the credential holder’s needs. The iCLASS Prox Card adheres to stringent ISO thickness standards, ensuring compatibility with direct image and thermal transfer printers.
