iCLASS SIO-Enabled (iCLASS SE™) smart cards are a revolutionary addition to HID Global’s cutting-edge secure access control solutions within the advanced Secure Identity Object™ (SIO) framework. This innovative approach leverages HID Global’s Trusted Identity Platform™ (TIP) architecture to deliver heightened security and seamless mobility. iCLASS SE smart cards incorporate multiple securely separated application zones, each protected by 64-bit diversified read/write keys, supporting complex applications and scalable for future requirements. These smart cards ensure robust secure access control with features like mutual authentication and encrypted data transfer.
Available in capacities of 2k bit, 16k bit, or 32k bit and optional additions like magnetic stripes or barcodes, iCLASS smart cards conform to ISO standards for card dimensions, making them suitable for both direct image and thermal transfer printers. The card’s graphics quality surface is tailored for Photo ID printing, offered in either standard PVC or a composite polyester/PVC construction, accommodating high wear and tear environments. Equipped with visual security and anti-counterfeiting options such as holograms, ultraviolet fluorescent inks, micro-printing, or custom logos, iCLASS SE smart cards can be quickly authenticated. Leveraging 13.56 MHz read/write contactless smart card technology, they support a diverse range of applications, including physical access control, PC logon, biometric authentication, time and attendance, cashless vending, public transportation, airline ticketing, and customer loyalty programs.
