The pivCLASS solutions portfolio offers an extensive range of contact, contactless, and biometric pivCLASS Readers designed to help agencies meet various assurance levels and adhere to NIST SP 800-116 guidelines. These advanced readers integrate seamlessly with the pivCLASS Authentication Module (PAM) to satisfy assurance level requirements. Additionally, pivCLASS readers offer full backward compatibility with existing iCLASS and HID Prox readers, facilitating a smooth transition from legacy cards to PKI-based credentials. Up to two pivCLASS readers can connect to a PAM using four-wire RS-485 connections, allowing facilities to efficiently utilize much of their existing infrastructure.
