For devices requiring 24V passive PoE, this feature can be manually activated using the UniFi Controller software. Downloadable at no extra cost from the Ubiquiti Networks website, the controller software requires no additional licensing or support fees. A single cloud-based instance of the UniFi Controller can manage multiple UniFi sites through a centralized interface, with each site logically separated, offering distinct network monitoring, configuration options, maps, statistics, and administrative accounts.
