Lutron RadioRA 2 CL Hybrid Keypads combine the functionalities of a dimmer and a keypad into one integrated lighting solution. These keypads are ideal for retrofit lighting projects, as they eliminate the necessity for installing two separate components.
Engineered with neutral-wire technology, CL Hybrid Keypads are compatible with low-load lighting sources, such as screw-in CFL and LED lamps. They maintain normal operation even if the connected load is absent or the lamp is malfunctioning.
As part of a sophisticated lighting control system, CL Hybrid Keypads offer advanced features like fade on/fade off and rapid full brightness. They come with large, user-friendly buttons and an optional backlit engraving feature, ensuring visibility in any lighting condition. The ergonomic design of the rounded buttons enhances the readability of engravings by displaying them at an upward angle. Additionally, the keypads include a Front Accessible Service Switch (FASS) for safe lamp changes.
For installation, only Lutron Designer (Claro or Satin Colors) wallplates should be used, as the keypads are specifically designed to be compatible with these Lutron wallplates and not with those from other manufacturers. The wallplates attach seamlessly without visible fasteners and are sold separately. Various Replacement Button Kits are also available, allowing for customized color options and engraved labels that clearly define each button’s function.
CL Hybrid Keypads are intended for use with permanently installed incandescent, tungsten halogen, CFL/LED, magnetic low-voltage, or Lutron Hi-lume A-Series LTE LED drivers exclusively.
