The Optex BXS-R-W is a wireless-ready, advanced perimeter security sensor designed for optimal outdoor protection. Part of the BX Shield (BXS) series, these quad PIR sensors are specifically crafted for safeguarding windows and the perimeter of buildings or facilities. Featuring a user-centric design, the BX Shield series integrates four PIR sensors, two on each side, allowing independent adjustments for detection range and sensitivity on each side, with a total span of 80′ (40′ per side) for exceptional versatility in perimeter security solutions. The sensors are equipped with SMDA logic (Super Multidimensional Analysis), which significantly enhances immunity to environmental disturbances, such as temperature fluctuations or moving foliage, effectively differentiating between false alarms and actual security breaches. Furthermore, the BXS is highly effective in scenarios where temperature contrasts between the human body and the environment are minimal, thanks to its extreme high detection mode that boosts PIR sensitivity, ensuring reliable detection and avoiding missed alarms.
