The Optex BXS-ST-W is a hardwired perimeter security solution, offering an impressive range of 80 feet (40 feet on each side). Part of the BX Shield (BXS) product line, it features advanced quad PIR sensors, which are perfect for safeguarding windows and the immediate borders of any property or facility. Designed for exceptional usability and adaptability, the BX Shield series is equipped with four PIR sensors, two per side, allowing for customizable detection range and sensitivity settings on each side independently. This flexibility extends up to a total of 80 feet, or 40 feet per side, for enhanced performance. The system incorporates SMDA (Super Multidimensional Analysis) logic to significantly boost immunity against temperature fluctuations and movement from trees and vegetation, accurately differentiating between false alarms and real security threats. The BX Shield is particularly effective in scenarios where there is minimal temperature variation between humans and the backdrop. Its extreme high detection mode enhances PIR sensitivity to ensure no alarms are missed.
