The HX-80N series of PIR sensors are installed at a height between 2.5 and 3 meters, delivering precise outdoor intrusion detection up to 24 meters for narrow, volumetric surveillance. This series is perfectly suited for securing alleyways, fence perimeters, and areas immediately adjacent to buildings. Designed to distinguish between humans and small to medium-sized animals, these sensors significantly minimize false alarms. The HX-80NRAM model is a battery-powered sensor with active infrared anti-masking technology.
Site Adjustability: The HX-80NRAM’s mounting bracket offers 180-degree horizontal rotation and vertical tilt adjustments to accommodate ground slopes effectively. Built-in flaps and plates allow the sensor to mask either longer or shorter detection ranges, focusing only on designated areas of interest.
Anti-Masking for Secure Operation: When the sensor is sprayed, covered, or obstructed, whether armed or disarmed, the active infrared anti-masking technology detects these actions, triggering a notification when the alarm system is activated.
Wireless Convenience: The HX-80NRAM operates with various standard batteries, such as CR123, CR2, and 1/2 AA (batteries not included). Its housing design is compatible with most market-available wireless radio transmitters, simplifying installation in remote or temporary settings.
