This driveway sensor offers full backwards compatibility, ensuring seamless integration with both original and new Optex Wireless 1000 and 2000 components. Equipped with an advanced infrared sensor and wireless transmitter, it can send an alert signal up to 2000 feet to either Optex RC-10 or RC-20 receivers, which then notify you with a pleasant chime.
The infrared sensor features two configurable settings: a fan setting and a long-range beam setting. The fan setting is optimal for monitoring doorways and entrances, or as a motion sensor mounted in the corner of a room. Meanwhile, the beam setting covers up to 50 feet, making it ideal for monitoring wide driveways, parking lots, or serving as a perimeter sensor for your property.
