Description
The **FRV20** fiber optic receiver is engineered to process two separate video channels transmitted over dual optical fibers. This fiber receiver seamlessly integrates with FTV10 and other compatible transmitters, facilitating each transmitter to convey one distinct video channel to any given **FRV20** receiver.
The **FRV20** model is available in both multimode and single-mode fiber optic versions. When deployed with single-mode fibers, this fiber optic receiver and its corresponding transmitter deliver an optical power budget of up to 23 dB, allowing for a transmission range reaching up to 69 kilometers (42.9 miles).
The **FRV20** receiver’s plug-and-play fiber design guarantees straightforward installation, eliminating the need for intricate electrical or optical calibration. Its modular structure allows the **FRV20** units to be installed in a rack using EURACK/USRACK chassis systems or as standalone units, which can be conveniently placed on a desktop or secured to a wall—no wall mount kit necessary.
For setups involving stand-alone or wall-mounted installations, the **FRV20** units require external power. These units can be effectively powered using the FEXTPS fiber optic external power supply as recommended.
