Ideal for use in automatic gate entry and exit, parking lots, and perimeter access scenarios, this pedestal features a face plate with universal hole patterns, a sturdy base plate, and a sliding cover plate to conceal the mounting bolts. Unlike other pedestals, which may be constructed from .074″ wall tubing, this pedestal is crafted from .120″ wall tubing, involving 62% more steel for enhanced durability against vandalism and harsh environmental conditions. It has successfully passed wind resistance tests, proving its ability to withstand sustained Category 5 hurricane winds of up to 157 mph.
Key features include an architectural neck cut and welded design that facilitates easy wiring from the ground to the access control device, ensuring convenient installation. The pedestal undergoes bead-blasting to remove contaminants and imperfections before receiving a powder-coated outdoor-rated TGIC polyester finish with UV protection, ensuring longevity in various weather conditions. Each unit includes carriage bolt hardware, securely wrapped in foam packaging, and individually boxed for safe transport.
