Description
The Category 5e/Class D 8-position unshielded twisted pair (UTP) jack module is designed to terminate solid 4-pair cables ranging from 24 to 22 AWG with a 100 ohm rating, without the need for a punchdown tool. This UTP jack module employs a downward forward motion termination technique to enhance performance by preserving cable pair geometry and preventing conductor untwist. The module’s base sled is color-coded orange to signify Category 5e performance, and it includes a universal label compatible with both T568A and T568B wiring configurations.
