The switch selection feature provides full flexibility in determining the movement of the gate arm in traffic management scenarios.
The BGU-D offers four programmable gate operation options in the event of an AC power outage:
– With **Fail Safe**, if AC power is lost and the backup battery is low, the gate will open and remain open until power is restored or the battery is charged via solar panels. Normal operation resumes with an auto-close feature if configured.
– With **Fail Secure**, during an AC power outage with a low backup battery, the gate will close and stay closed until power or battery charge is restored. Normal operation will then resume.
– With **Open Immediate**, the gate will open immediately if AC power fails and stay open until power returns, after which it will resume normal operations with auto-close if set.
– With **Close Immediate**, the gate will close immediately upon AC power failure and remain closed until power restoration, then return to normal operation.
