The BGUS Series features a slower-operating, counterbalanced arm, ideal for traffic management and parking control applications. It is available in a 1/2 horsepower configuration with supply voltage options of 115V or 230V and offers various arm length selections.
This versatile gate operator is equipped with universally adaptable switch selection options, allowing for complete customization of the arm’s operation in diverse traffic control scenarios.
The BGUS-D model offers four programmable gate operation modes in the event of AC power failure:
– **Fail Safe Mode:** Upon AC power loss and low backup battery voltage, the gate will automatically cycle open and remain open until AC power is restored or the battery is recharged by solar panels. It will then resume normal operations and auto-close if this function is set.
– **Fail Secure Mode:** In the event of AC power interruption and low backup battery voltage, the gate will automatically cycle closed and remain closed until power is restored or the battery is charged via solar panels. Normal operations will then resume.
– **Open Immediate Mode:** This setting ensures that if AC power fails, the gate will cycle open immediately and stay open until power is restored, after which it will return to normal operations and auto-close if programmed.
– **Close Immediate Mode:** With this option, the gate will cycle closed instantly following an AC power failure and remain closed until power restoration, resuming standard operations thereafter.
