The Model MDR/U 1-Channel Plug-in Receiver is a highly adaptable solution for integrating nearly any garage door operator with the MegaCode format transmitters from Linear. Operating at a frequency of 318 MHz and offering over one million unique radio codes, the MegaCode format minimizes the risk of code duplication. The receiver simplifies setup with its learn mode programming feature.
In the past, to add MegaCode capability to a garage door operator without a built-in MegaCode receiver, installers used the MDR receiver with a power transformer. The MDR/U innovates by replacing the MDR, allowing direct plug-in to any electrical outlet. Installation is straightforward, requiring only a single two-conductor wire connected to the operator’s push-button input.
Equipped with a normally open contact output, the MDR/U can transmit remote control signals from up to 10 MegaCode transmitters. Its learn mode makes the programming process as easy as pressing a button.
