The 620-101293 from Linear is a cutting-edge PRO access control solution for gate operators and barrier arms, featuring the advanced APeX II controller. The APeX II control board retains all the outstanding functionalities of its predecessor, eliminating the need for extensive reprogramming and installation. It incorporates low-voltage surge protection directly on the board to safeguard against lightning strikes. The controller supports plug-in loop detectors for open, shadow/reset, and reversing operations, as well as pluggable European-style field wiring connectors. Its LED diagnostic indicators and integrated MegaCode radio can accommodate up to 40 handheld transmitters and two MGT gate edge transmitters, alongside an integrated three-button station for Open, Close, and Stop functionalities. Designed for ease in dual gate setups, the APeX II is networkable, enabling accessory devices to be connected to either gate operator in dual applications. It boasts automatically resetting fuses and eliminates the need for dipswitches or potentiometers, featuring instead a dual seven-segment LED display for streamlined programming and diagnostics. Additionally, this controller enhances OSCO’s range of commercial DC battery backup gate operators with soft-start/soft-stop capabilities, optimizing performance and reliability.
